A Northeast gal, Dr. Pence hails from New Hampshire but currently resides in the much warmer climate of Dallas, TX. As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist, she has spent over a decade working with girls and women as they peel back the layers of their relationship with food, their body and themselves. She is passionate about helping others to move away from competition, comparison and self-loathing and towards connection, wholehearted relationships and self-love. In addition to working as the Executive Director for Embody Love Movement, she owns her own private practice in Dallas, serving both individuals and families affected by eating disorders. She is also a Certified Daring Way Facilitator for Brené Brown’s work with The Daring Way. Dr. Pence has been featured in various publications and media outlets such as Good Morning America, the BBC, Glamour, Vogue, WebMD, Psychology Today, and The Huffington Post.
Christi Jiannino experienced the Embody Love Workshop™ and knew she had to be a part of this organization. She was introduced to Embody Love Movement by running in the same yoga circles as the founder, Dr. Melody Moore. A yoga teacher herself since 2006, she is no stranger to the ways in which the practice of yoga can transform lives. She began volunteering for the organization, became a Certified Facilitator and is now the Program Coordinator. She is dedicated to empowering girls and women to value their inner qualities over their external appearance, to change the conversation from criticism to kindness and to unlock their potential to live a purpose driven life.
Ashley Carter is the designer, artist and director of Embody Love Movement’s creative department. Prior to joining the team, she spent more than a decade building her Graphic Design career, primarily through the fashion industry. Although successful, the experience exposed her to the negative role that the media plays on how women should look and feel. Armed with the truth, Ashley now uses her talents to serve others through positive design and love-based marketing.
Ashley currently resides in Arizona but is native to Texas, where she graduated as Valedictorian in the field of Graphic Design.
